Vivian Dubrovin is the author of 17 books for children. She published 12 books for an educational publisher and one computer book for a computer publisher before starting Storycraft Publishing ten years ago to bring out a narrow niche line of award-winning storytelling books. She is currently editor of the Junior Storyteller newsletter and Kids’ Storytelling Club website, and managing director of Storycraft Publishing.
For more than 30 years she has been conducting Workshops and Seminars on Writing for Children. For the past 10 years she has been giving programs on Independent Publishing and Storytelling. Her workshops have included: Opportunities in Writing Fiction for Young Readers Exploring Your Options in Writing Nonfiction for Children Seminar on Independent Publishing of Children’s Books
Her Programs for Young Authors include: Artist in Residency Programs Young Authors Day Programs Creating Storytelling Stories Her Teacher Seminars Have Included: University level continuing education classes for teachers on Helping Children Write Short Stories, Creating Classroom Newspapers, Desktop Publishing With Children, Teaching Composition Through Word Processing, Classroom Publishing, and an online graduate independent study course for teachers on Helping Children Become Storytellers for the University of Northern Colorado.
