A primary teacher for nearly thirty years, Virginia Brucker believes that we must encourage children to educate their hearts as well as their minds. Virginia has been recognized by the Canadian Center for Philanthropy for her “innovative and caring” work and received the Canadian Cancer Society’s national “community champion” award. She is currently at work on a companion book to Gifts from the Heart: Simple Ways to Make Your Family’s Christmas More Meaningful.
