Step 1. This may seem obvious but start by writing your book or ebook! The fact is 81% of people believe they have a book or ebook in them but less than 1% will ever get it done.  So GET IT DONE!  But be smart about it and do it the right way the first time. That means doing the research before you write a single word to insure that your project will be success!

Step 2: If you’ve written a book, turn it into an ebook by taking your manuscript, reformatting it, and turning it into a PDF. You want to do this  because a book that sells for $14.97 to $16.97 in the bookstore or online can sell for $27 to $47 or more as an ebook. And you get to keep 97% of it! In fact, some of my colleagues have DOUBLED their profits by having both a book and an ebook!

Step 3: Record your ebook and turn it into an audio book or an audio-coaching program. (If you can use a phone you can record your ebook!)That way you will have an instant up sell and make a lot more money than you would if you sold your eBook alone.

Step 4. Start your own blog. You can do it in as little as 5 minutes! Or hire a web person/designer to build a custom one for you. (You can get started with a custom blog for as little as $30!) Be sure to include an opt-in box on your blog  so you can start building a list while you advertise your eBook.

Remember, people generally buy from people they know like and trust. If you don’t collect those emails you will have lost valuable potential customers for good.  Once they  leave your site you’ll never get them back again if they don’t purchase your eBook right away..

Note: It takes 5 to 7 times of people having contact with you for most people to buy. So get those emails and start building those relationships. You’ll make a lot more eBook sales!

Step 5. Write articles and get them in the article directories. Also submit them to relevant newsletters online. (You’ll have to change the content by 30% but it’s really easy to do-just say the same thing with different words!) And be sure to include a resource box that sends people back to your blog.

This is a quickest way to drive traffic back to your blog because you can lift your articles directly from your eBook or modify passages; it’s a really easy way to “repurpose” your content,  build your list and make more eBook sales all at the same time!

Step 6. Set up a teleseminar/virtual eBook tour to sell more eBooks and spread the word! Invite people to come and ask questions about your eBook. You make more sales on teleseminars than from sales page.

Step 7. Create an affiliate program for your eBook.  When you create an affiliate program you leverage other people’s efforts and explode your profits.  The key is making it really easy for your affiliates and creating compelling tools that guarantee their success.

Use this 7 point plan and you’ll start seeing cash in your bank account in no time from your eBook!
