I've been the owner of a traveling theater company for years and have taken care of my own marketing since the beginning so moving into marketing my book was not as difficult for me as those who have not had marketing experience. Go with the free or small fee venues! www.artistfirst.com is an internet radio station that will set you up in an over the phone interview. I shared the info with my publisher and he has sent all his authors to this venue. You can do a free interview or do the $75 interview as I did. After the interview, download the entire interview, almost 50 minutes long, place on mp3 and your website or download to a cd if you prefer. Tony Kay, the interviewer, does his homework on your book. He was a delight and I would suggest this as a cheaper venue to get yourself air time. You will stay on the show's archives for a long time. Frankly, radio internet is fast becoming the new "radio" and you can hear it all over the world by turning on your computer. Good luck, Debi Irene Wahl

This article doesn't deliver what it says it will- you have to go to her web site for that, so this might be a bit disappointing for some of our self-publishers. And as far as I know, Napolean Hill's book is not "Think and Rich", but "Think and Grow Rich".
