Thanks Patricia!
You've given me the impetus to also charge for my advice, as the coaching people want for free is quite a burden sometimes. I get emails and calls from total strangers who are so excited about their books, who don't imagine i have anything else to do but lay out all the groundwork details for them, and pros and cons. I've written 24 books, 6 of which are self published, the others with a variety of publishers, and market all of them, as well as a monthly educational newspaper I publish and market. What's a good rate?

Patrica,

Thanks for the excellent article! I have a question: Is there a rule of thumb for an average number of book sales for self publishing?

Thanks! Again, I enjoyed your article.
