I heard that Author House was ordered to pay $230,000 for a book that they published?

I thought they were a self publishing company? Looks like a Kansas court agreed with what I have been telling you all along, that Author House is the publisher (vanity/subsidy/POD as it may be), not the author, and is responsible, just like any other publisher, for the content of books they publish.
