Turning words into sales
Turning Words into Sales
In my twenty plus years as a broadcaster, both, as a host and a guest and with the eighty to ninety authors I interview a month; I have noticed a pattern while doing my own syndicated show. Many of the authors were good guests, articulate and grounded in their subject matter but, they were lacking in one area … they were not selling their books! When I say the word “selling” I mean getting the full value of the interview. Authors come back to their publisher, publicist or booking agent and could not understand why their book sales are down. This is fixable!
“Turn Your Words into Sales” what does it mean? Simple! It means: Do more than just a great interview; have great sales to go with it!
You may have done dozens or even hundreds of interviews; but did they generate sales for you? Did your message connect with the audience in such a way that they were absolutely convinced that they would be better off, as a result of making the decision, to buy your book?
